Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Trifecta of Evil (Universities, Government, Big Business)

Here’s the problem. Everyone is against you. Universities funded by your tax dollars want foreign students that pay full tuition to subsidize their overpriced socialist club which advocate diversity except political diversity. They educate this group to compete against future American jobs. The US government freely hands out your money (tax dollars) to protect this voting block. Big business (Exxonmobil et al ) wants cheap labor not only off shore but now also displacement of employees domestically with rotating assignments at sites and offices from India/Malaysia. They use significant money to influence their positions. The average tax paying American is being squeezed by this alliance of Universities, Government and Big Business. Everyone is guilty and they all have their hands in the cookie jar including both political parties.

So there is no truth at all in the post? My thing is on the long game . If this continues where will the taxpayer money come from? No matter what sooner or later politics will have to fall to the side and what’s best for the country will have to happen. If not worrying about a hurricane will be the last thing on your mind.

@xdn It’s always easy to pick out the BTC and KLTC posts.

@ajz That’s a bit of a reach.

Posts of this kind fit a specific pattern. My best guess is that the OP was involuntary separated from their employment with Exxon, and is coping by posting their personal grievances to this board.

My advice is that they seek help.

@cst This is exactly the forum to discuss this. Why do you think all the layoffs continue at a rate of 5-10% a year.

@OP This isn’t the forum to address grievances of this kind.

We’re all very sorry that you’re having difficulty adjusting to your post-retirement life. There are resources available to you. Here is a link to some free mental health resources:

I hope you find the help that you need to live a better, happier life. Best of luck to you.

Another HR plant posting drivel to undermine and dilute real and critical information from being being seen on this board.
