Layoffs started today. One person was let go from my group. This round appears to be performance based - person let go was based on performance.
Based on what management said the push to offshore is going to pick up. Offshore managers are justifying their existence - seeking and demanding offshore teams be brought up to speed ASAP. For those of us onshore “lay flat”/ milk it for what is for etc.

Yes I know for sure. I Work in the engineering dept and was WFR’d today. Going to look at this as a growing opportunity for me. Severance given.

they are happening... they are already underway. this particular round (July 15th) is not as big as originally anticipated.
I can't say if this is being staggered across multiple weeks or not, all I can say for sure is that we were expecting this one to be huge, and it wasn't.
but still, many people will lose their jobs today. this is not BS, I know with 100% certainty.

Oh so you don’t really know there aren’t any layoffs on Monday. You are just saying that because you are offended by someone that may know something you don’t know. And that the company you work for has layoffs nearly weekly.
People are just straight up making sh-t up and posting it on this site. There’s no layoffs Monday.
It’s a weird phenomenon that people are getting off posting lies here trying to frighten gullible employees. I feel bad for these people. Something is missing in their lives.
