Thread regarding ViaSat Inc. layoffs

Legacy Viasat?

What kind of id--tic term is 'legacy Viasat' anyway? Companies that acquire other companies don't become legacy. No wonder this happened and the company is lost. Self fulfilling prophecy.

Some say US Air bought American, but there is no US Air today. Some say NorthWest bought Delta, but there is no NorthWest today. Bye bye Viasat ?

Once jobs go remote, it’s trivial to off shore them for some serious cost savings.

I'm starting to think this acquisition was just a clever way to offshore two companies in one go

I’ve never seen an acquisition so set on reminding people they were two companies “legacy Viasat” “legacy Inmarsat” usually it’s “One Viasat” blah blah. Very odd.

Not sure what to make of it

The bricks in space are legacy. It’s all good moving forward.
