Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Delusional townhall

1 million questions on pay... The CEO promised on the previous town hall to give an update on this town hall.
25 minutes into a 30 min town hall and despite the marketing woman wanting to duck the countless pages on the same question Mary actually stepped up to the plate and addressed the question on every single persons lips with her stock answer. Follow the yellow brick road to Q3.

They spent 25 minutes saying how wonderful and key the employees are and then showed their real feelings by not addressing the single most important question in the first minute on the first slide.

DXC leadership get heads in the game. No one is coming with you to slay the dragons until you first provide pay rises...

you all need to stop being babies and grow up. You could post on here until you’re blue in the face and nothing will change.

post on LinkedIn or on X , glass door or any of the other sites that analyst, and our customers look at.

If you hate the XC so much be a professional update your resume, and change employers. I don’t care about your redundancy over in Europe if you really don’t like the company that much grow a pair and change jobs

To be fair new CMO did say it was a great story telling session, so her LinkedIn post was in keeping with the fictional nature of the meeting.

They apply COLA to the majority of contracts. Given that, it's logical they should give pay rises.

The new CMO gave the Town Hall a big spin on LinkedIn -- said it was a big success.

Incredible DXC Technology Global Townhall discussion with Raul Fernandez, Cameron Art and our leadership team along with our teams worldwide.

I predict a sting of resignations, followed by a lot of flapping from management. A call to do more and pick up the slack. Big clients quoting SLAs and penalty clauses. All of which will be met with - "pay rise?" from anyone left. I've already been set impossible targets with no plan on how to achieve any of them. But am happy that if I fail all of them I get the same 0% anyway. No bonus, no reward, no incentive. We don't even get a round of donuts or the boss gets in Pizza while we work late now that we don't work in offices. The company has become incapable of delivering, and I realise now there's nothing I can do other than say I told you so and watch it sink. While waiting on a miracle.

The Vps are loving this company. Totally smashing it to bits for ever cent they gan get their hands on, there's apparently no money for Merits but plenty for the people at the top, big pay, share options to avoid tax, and constant free holiday travel around the globe.

Its that good they don't even have to deliver a positive outcome.

If there was really no profit then they wouldn't be travelling the globe, what they mean is the money is only available for them.

A unbalanced company in a master slave engagement. How long can this last before there a revolution?

The share price is going up - that's all that matters. Most of our clients are so determined to over complicated the simplest of tasks that ultimately they never get done. DXC just needs to employ people who can create a few powerpoint slides and show up to their meetings and yap the days away. Our competitors play the same game, but share the cream with the employees. Perhaps where we do win, is that the staff are so disillusioned that we just tell it how it is and in some markets the clients actually appreciate that.

The VPs are loving the world tour at your expense, wonder where they are finding the money for that.

Raul and co been in Europe to watch the Euros, sorry i meant to meet customers of course. Derek been to India, nice little holiday, other Veeps flying around constantly. How many Engineers do you know who get to fly on company pay?

I guess when Microsoft Teams comes out they will be the first to use it, will save them massive amounts of time and cost to make the quarters lood good and finally be able to pay staff. Oh sorry Teams is out years ago, wonder why they are flying the globe every week costing millions and emitting C02, not very ESG.

What a bunch of jokers and liars. His worse than Salvino.

You're never gonna change the senior management view, they don't understand that the employee's work is paying their wages and employees should have an annual pay rise.

The senior management team are massively overpaid and underperform.

We urgently need a senior management team that is interested in rewarding employees with annual pay rises not a team. that is only interested in there own pay rises and bonuses!

The head of HR has a lack of interest in employees pay rises which shows we have the wrong person in that job paid millions of dollars

I pray things change.

Once we get an answer about the merit increase, be it positive or negative. You can be sure nobody will attend the next Town Hall.

They know exactly why people attend, and it isn't because they think anyone is on board. They would have to be delusional to think so. And they know why people drop once they answer the question. They only care about themselves, their shareholders, and their BS "story," and it's proven in one TH after another.

Why did you even attend. They still think most people are with them. If nobody comes to their party they'll eventually learn.

I dropped once Mary "addressed" the most prevalent QA topic, and I suspect most everyone else did too.
