Nicole’s outfit was totally tone deaf, but whatever. The bigger concern is the fact that we have an HR leader that is drunk on her own ego and clearly could not care less about the employees she’s supposed to be representing. At least Cindy Ryan tried to fake caring. Kari doesn’t even bother. Glad you got to check off a bucket list item by visiting that stadium, though. That’s what matters.

Why is everyone so upset over a lawyer wearing a nice suit? What do you want her to wear?

Too bad those lawyers are focused against the employees. Perhaps if they applied themselves to our pbm pricing practices, we would not be here:

Nicole Jones is a joke! Nothing like wearing a Gucci branded suit costing thousands of dollars in front of an employee population that is over 50% hourly associates. TONE DEAF! Call associates and other hourly employees should seriously consider unionizing.

Gotta love a company who has two lawyers leading the HR organization. It’s all about policy and nothing about people anymore. Cigna is a shell of what it used to be. Shame on Cordani and his out of control ego for letting this happen. Nobody on his team or the board who is managing him - out of control!!

Every town hall Q/A now needs to open with someone saying "We are NOT OK!"

Be sure to hammer the town hall survey (from a non-corporate device of course)!

We wouldn’t need “vitality” at work if they didn’t continue to give us goals that are unrealistic and continue to pile on nonsense like showing up to an office with other sick people (like DC sniffling) and waste time commuting to offices with no coffee. Not to mention the monthly reminder that we or our co-workers will disappear through layoffs they are gaslighting us and saying aren’t happening. We still want to help our customers which is our own professional pride but this company refusing to take care of us will reflect on them soon enough.
We are not ok.

We’re not ok is an understatement! I just wish they would answer the questions and not go around them.! Wake up Cigna are you gonna lose a lot of good people!

Man, the Gucci suit and the cackle of our “HR leader” was just cringy. I think the statement “we’re not ok” says it all. I wonder if these statements that were made will help others come forward, because even tho someone seems ok, I think people are just hiding it very well.

I feel stupid saying this, but watch “The Company Men” from 2011. Depressing.

I love that all three brave souls who spoke truth to power today were WOMEN!
Did their very valid points fall on soulless, psychopathic ears? Unfortunately.
Does our leader care at all? nope. He made that abundantly clear.
Does our head of HR care at all? nope. But hey, she likes the steelers. (Puh-leez!) Sit down counsel.
Should we all continue to raise this same message, over and over and over and over? Yep! "We are not OK!" If we all yell it loud enough, maybe they'll hear us (think horton hears a who.)
Shame on you ELT, that Lydia shows more genuine concern for employees' well-being and quality of life than our leaders. How DARE you preach about VITALITY.
Your ridiculous mandate has obliterated mine and may other's, and you know it.
Any edict that forces some (but not all) employees into hybrid situations despite the fact that not all were previously located in an office, holding only a portion of the population to in person job requirements that don't apply to all (even on their same team) is total and utter B.S.
I don't give a cr*p about any celebrity athlete either. You can't deflect or distract from the fact that we can't stand you, your cruel FoW policy, your HR lawyer. Even your hot pink gucci suit. (fierce look, but c'mon. a little too "let them eat cake")

Fix what you broke.
"We are not OK!"

Q: So, what changes can we expect in response to the valid concerns communicated today?

A: Questions and callers will be screened next town hall.

As a cigna employee, if my insurance su-ks, I can't imagine coverage for common people.

Tbh, it's WAY better for common people. I (not so jokingly) joke that they test the leanest possible coverages on their employees.

They brought out a former NFL player. I muted the audio so I didn't catch the conversation, but Cordani gave him a Cigna football jersey at the end.

Was certainly a great and welcomed surprise for all the workers struggling to get by.

Although well-deserved, I don't know if sending them stand out recognitions is the best idea. Might put a target on their backs.

I am so done with them rambling that “Studies show being in person in office is good for you” . STOP! Don’t tell us what is good for our vitality. We are not toddlers for God sake!
I am so glad Lydia clearing said “WE ARE NOT OK”. But it’s so infuriating to hear David response as “studies show bla bla bla” gahhhhhh

I am not going to last here longer. It’s very very insulting the kind of message CEO is sending. It’s a red flag 🚩

I escaped Cigna a few weeks ago, but got tons of texts about this town hall! I am so bummed to be missing it! That place has become a s--t hole, but the FOW was one of the main reasons I finally made the jump (after more than a decade). Also the total lack of respect for DC and higher ups. It's reached a boiling point and I pray that brings about some changes for you all!

"By next townhall, all questions will be from Hyderabad, no one left in US.

CEO will be Raj Cordani."

Sounds about right. I'm a dev and personally know a couple teams that have been laid off. Just recently found out mine will be fazed out in the months to come as well.
