Thread regarding UKG / Ultimate Kronos Group / Ultimate Software Group Inc. layoffs

Mass layoffs followed by chaos

I’m expected to pick up work for people who were laid off. It’s not going to happen. None of us should accept doubled workload. It’s their problem, not ours. They decided to be cheap, so should we. You get what you pay for, that’s all. If the volume of work is more than the actual number of employees needed to handle it, well, then you shouldn’t do the layoffs.

this is exactly the sh-t we get when UKG decided to have a HQ in India. honestly speaking, things has gone down south when Indian engineers tookover. Ain't being a racist, but more than half the time, the engineers are clueless.

This has been a problem for awhile. Extra work had to be taken on after the early retirement push they did and after the layoffs last year. Also, they have not been backfilling most positions this year. There has been loss of knowledge with the people left scrambling to figure things out as well as overload and stress.

Everyone is expected to pick up the workload like nothing happened. They were all "Disengaged Squatters" doing nothing so it should be no problem.
