I heard that earlier this year, the Dublin branch announced 168 layoffs. It turns out there was one person was mistakenly included in the layoff list. Within a couple of days, senior management realized the error and had to rescind the layoff notice for this individual.
I can't imagine the stress of going through such an ordeal, even for just a short while.
Is there a post on the timeframes of these waves?
The place really is a clown show at times. How do we expect our clients to take us seriously?

@xla+1tpqIrAz: Allegedly, they still got paid as regular till actual Wave 4 and then 90 day notice, severance, etc. they kinda had 150 day notice.

The person should sue Citi, but maybe they want to keep their job and stay below the radar?
That Is so sad, to be offered a way out with pay, only to have it snatched back!

Wave 4, I hope they used it as opportunity to have new job lined up so they get severance and new job pay the whole time after last date! I hope they laughed all the way to the bank! And I hope they negotiated for extra to stay on while waiting the official layoff notification date.

How about someone being told they were part of wave 3 when in fact wave 4? Imagine that conversation. How does that even happen, but it did.
