Thread regarding F5 Networks Inc. layoffs

Any information on layoffs this month? With all the layoffs that have happened over years, any signs to tell if one is going to be impacted?

"There are no conversations around layoffs or reductions in force taking place in July." - they will be in two weeks, in August, just about time for the financial end of the year. Besides, no talks are required; the "AI" will sort it out.

At the rate it's going F5 is going to get acquired by a leveraged buyout firm who fires all the useless execs and sells the tech to better managed companies who know how to bring products to market. The incompetence and arrogance of managers at this company is staggering.

F5 will continuously seek cost-saving measures by reallocating jobs to India.

Layoffs? They are an ongoing consideration for the executive teams. Over the past 18 months, nearly 13% of employees have been let go, and this trend may increase, especially if the financial results do not meet market expectations.

There are two signs. First is the PIP. If you are put on PIP after a "performance" review, it's likely they will replace you soon with someone in India. Second is the inability to log in to your laptop. You work or try to log in in the morning, and suddenly, you see the equivalent of the "Blue screen of death". In the first place, there is a sign. In the second, well. You just got disconnected, trashed, logged out. They will either call you or send an email to your private address with instructions on how to return company equipment. Mind that at this stage, some Indians have already been interviewed for your position.
