A Scrum Master is a non-technical taskmaster who's gotten a certification which allows them to command a technology salary without providing any technology value.
It's a middle-management injection into traditionally self-managed and efficient organizations, for little benefit.
The connections day on the 17th July has been cancelled. That tells me something is certainly happening soon.

Scrum Masters know they are on borrowed time and are waiting on the meeting. From what I heard of their morale, they don't care if they go.

What redundancy did they pay last year?
Some scrum masters were told to transition all their work to the team DPM's as of end of June, I suspect some of them impacted too
I suspect they are workday related.
