The For Sale by Owner sign will be pounded in the ground day one after the merger is complete.
I can't wait to see the combined stock price of these two after merger. The difference between before REIT spin off and after they merge back together again will probably be equal to all the money the executives made during the time apart.
There have been a few cuts in the small business organization but mostly quiet. This will be the pattern until the buyout closes and they take the opportunity to weed people out. If you need a short term job with stability +/- one year this may be an opportunity.
Or it could be that there have not been many layoffs lately.
No one cares anymore, this place is irrelevant. People have moved on. Just like Vacuum tubes and Rotary phones, everything comes to an end.
More like no one is left to care to cr-p post here anymore.
My only hope is HR also gets themselves laid off, I've landed at a new place and there is a list of people if they ever apply that I'll tell them to pass on because working with them was a headache.
