I should mention I'm not a ukrewer but I was with a ukg implementation partner company. You might see a whole bunch of partners mentioning they have jobs opening, but the reality is that every partner just did a massive round of layoffs. He-l I even saw one partner company advertising a summer discount to clients for SMA.

UKG is doing something called Partner Direct. They're sending customers to partners directly instead of supplementing partner resources on UKG projects. Many customers are engaging partners in EMEA and APAC to do their implementations instead of UKG directly. It's all to get partner resources off the UKG books to make it look more attractive for an IPO or a sale but no one will say which it is
It's more or less a gamble for the partners. They're hoping they can swoop in and poach vulnerable folks who have experience with ukg software for a cheap price while also hoping they can bring in more ukg projects for themselves via connections to decision makers still at ukg (which in reality doesn't work)
Previously my team was trying to cut costs by NOT using partners, so I’m not sure why they’d be getting more business now. Though I also don’t understand how they’re going to get all the migrations done.
Seems like the whole industry has just gone down. Thousands of jobs offshored, dozens of layoffs at every company, over 100K+ laid off since 2022 (according to layoffs .fyi)
Maybe time to become a plumber or something
