Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Town halls are meaningless fluff

I stopped paying attention to these town halls when I realized they were all just fake fluff and a bunch of high band a--hats patting themselves on the back.

No real news ever gets revealed, just lies and propaganda. I'll find any real news reported online before they announce it in a town hall.

No questions we're interested in get answered - and when they do, they're with lies.

What's the point? I guess HR just uses it to pacify the d-mbest of us into believing we're informed and being listened to. Anyone with an IQ above room temperature realizes what this is - meaningless fluff.

Couldn’t agree more, @1cfp+1tj2FL3V

I only ever really attend townhalls that are specific to the area I work in. The company wide ones are essentially PR because they know that any juicy info could (will) leak to the general public/shareholders.

HR is to protect the company; not us employees
