For any folks involved in staffing; serious question - Does our long term staffing pipeline look fine for the future or are we going to struggle for talent. Keep hearing a couple of different messages with GBC attrition and inability to retain talent offset with many folks in Houston stuck there until they retire

There is non North America talent pipeline. EM has DRASTICALLY lowered its recruiting standards since COVID. Folks from good schools with good grades are turning down EM in droves, hence, the lowered standards to fill needed jobs.
In the longer term, EM will be uncompetitive.
If you think the stock price has su-ked for the last 10+ years (thanks Rex and Durwood!), just wait!
OP the talent pipeline is strong and healthy here in BTC. What are you talking about?
O&G industry in general is on life support, it's a dying industry, so there's no need to develop talent for the future.
No one in their right mind wants to come here. Only low IQ and not so talented need apply
@luu You mean the all engineers who don’t engineer anything and all the managers who don’t manage anything?
My dude, you only build a talent pipeline when the jobs you need done actually require talent.
OP has a valid concern. Sadly our executives are focused ons enriching themselves in the short term.
Agree with other posts but want to add S&D are knee deep in Denbury and Pioneer. Frankly between S&D and the teams involved are so hyped about the next PDS moments for the next 26 months. The “pipeline” are the chosen ones. I understand and agree with your question but this place is way beyond basic business principles and strategies.
Well we don't need to develop internal executives anymore and all the engineers and project managers will be located in Bangalore so I'd say the talent pipeline doesn't really matter anymore.
OP, they are developing talents in KLTC, BTC, and most recently Dayawan Tech Center. So, all is good. No worries about talent pipeline
Sorry OP, but what you do daily at EMHC just doesn’t require a great deal of talent or skill.
You’re not building rocket engines or developing mRNA vaccines. You’re generating and editing documents for internal reference, skimming vendor drawings, and sitting on Zoom with your mic and camera turned off. Not to deflate your balloon here, but none of this requires a “long term talent pipeline.”
