When 50% of your employees give you the middle finger for RTO that should tell you where you are as a company.

The company did its best to warn you that they will no longer tolerate all the part time remote workers who are being paid a full time salary. Guess who will be getting s canned in theand the riveropens for the rightous forthcoming massive layoff. It shouldnt bother you anyway as most are used to staying home
The threat of not being promoted is meaningless. We all know we will not be promoted with or without rto
you spelled wise wrong.
notice none longs to be old and irrelevant.
ah...to be young and d-mb again
@2ood+1tlLoLS4 jammed for what? just coffee-badge the place, get the work done remote, and enjoy the summer
Hopkinton is jammed Tuesday through Thursday. Most people in the office.
"bless your heart"
I'd have more respect for you if you just said eff-off.
but you are such a spineless cuck soy that you use old lady insults dating from the Antebellum period on an anon forum.
How could management be telling there employees they need to return to office when the Managers are working remote??? In my opinion NO manager should be working from home, they should be hands on with there employees in house!

“I know you are dense but hopefully me explaining it in every detail helps you”
Bless your heart. If you’re as pleasant at work as you are on this anonymous forum, I’m sure that you have opportunities thrown at you left and right. Everybody must be clamoring to work with you.
What promotions? We’re in a hiring freezes and have been for 2 years. There are no opportunities to be promoted. It doesn’t say you can’t apply for promotions. It says that at that time you’ll have to be hybrid. This is all assuming that they don’t change this policy by the time hiring opens back up.

they issued a lot of warnings and took away promos from remotes and mentioned future staff reductions. Literrally threatening remote work.
yet over 50% said remote.
I know you are dense but hopefully me explaining it in every detail helps you
Is it really saying how we feel about this company or how we feel about work and the year 2024? If I left to go to a new company, I would still want to be remote. I’ve been remote for the majority of my career, it works for me and I am successful at it.
I work in RR. Not hard to find a spot at all and the building isn’t crowded. I would say the 50% is spot on.
within an hour is much less than 50%
the important number is, of employees who live within one hour's commute to a Dell office, what % chose remote? anyone know that number?
"but I will say the parking lots are packed in RR"
misleading since the sold other buildings, land and accompanying parking lots. So they are squishing everyone into the leftover spaces.
The sad part is most of the executive team is remote. In ISG it’s pretty foolish when your president of the division has his all hands from his house in Florida.
The eNPS score is a joke too. All around the company is a joke.
How do you expect to take you seriously when you don’t even comply with your own rules and you don’t listen to your employees?
Not sure the actual percentage but I will say the parking lots are packed in RR, hard to find a good spot.
chose life and family and accept the threat against future promotions
Hard to "opt" for remote when they closed my local office and didn't reopen it. Not much of a choice...
Discriminating against someone based on location... Great idea...
Im gonna say its much higher than 50 but to help them save face, the "leaks" that say 50 are being allowed to say that.
Agree its likely 70% or higher
how so? They're still working.
It's more like 70% remote.
