No hours to hire, yet Belk wants people to think they are constantly hiring

They are trying to fool store level workers into thinking everything is fine. It’s not.
You hire part timers and give them 1 day or none on a schedule. Why hire them at all?
And if you speak about and ask me why are we doing this, you get reprimanded. It looks like they are trying to make the associates think they are easily replaceable, which is not the case.
how about hiring, then giving no hours the first week. thats why they never come back.
or not taking people who quit off the payroll
