Give me a break. This has nothing to do with Elon and all to do with a CEO that 'thinks' he is a great leader. He doesn't know what customers really want, he makes poor decisions and the stock price let him know it. And we all suffer because of it.
OT will not recover under the current leadership period end of story.
The posts are not making people anxious. OT B-Hive, you need to stand back and let people go through this horrible experience. You HR people should very well understand the stages people go through when being laid off. It is your fault it went as bad as it did.
@rvg+1tkxNTHA, there's nothing with the posts here. It allows folks to let off some steam and warn others. If you are anxious, I suggest you stop reading the posts or examine your feelings. Maybe, subconsciously, you realise work at Opentext is not secure or rewarding and that you should re-evaluate your work life balance.
It seems CEOs are taking cues from Elon and have become addicted to laying off employees to boost their stock prices. This strategy has proven to be quite effective.

From a business standpoint, it's understandable that they need to do this to satisfy Wall Street investors. If you're looking for someone to blame, you can point to Elon, as he's leading the charge.
