Mid October.

Completely untrue. Nothing in the works. And I would know.
Smaller pockets of layoffs are still happening across multiple orgs, just not in large chunks. Thanks HR lead for the reassurance. Back to pre 2023 protocol.
@1mir+1tkwMaNp ok so what does the HR lead have to say about the VSP coming soon to the PMO space?
Wow! OP claims mid october which is a little over three months from now. So much can happen between now and then. OP has no idea what they are talking about if they are just going to throw some $-hit at the wall and see what sticks.
Sorry you lost your job and have a need to post these sort of lies. I'm a lead in HR and can tell you nothing like this is even in the works. If it was to happen in october HR would be preparing for it right now. As an HR lead this is not at all true.
Please OP... move on with your life and get a new job. Sorry you were let go. Seek professional help if you need it to move on with your life.
I have mixed feelings about the customer service profession. I did a couple stints at call centers in my 20s and was relieved to get away from it. You take abuse from both ends -- you are micro-managed to death on your call performance, call metrics, and attendance, then from the other side you're frequently berated by unhappy customers. I wouldn't wish that job on anyone.
Regardless of whether it's true or not, they're doing this so that Mike can tout that T-Mobile is greatly benefiting from the efficiencies gained from using Generative AI.
This must be to move even more positions overseas so they can save $19 an hr on each person.
Anymore details? Does this make include people on the frontlines taking calls? Any certain info on what will make the decision? Trying to position myself to be let go so anything would help.
