Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Seriously folks?

Why are you hanging on? Get out of this place. Dump it fast and move on. If you wait until it takes you down, it's too late.

Most people have a second job working at Optum. The leaders are so freaking d-mb hahahahaha why leave if they are stupid enough to pay us. I’m just waiting for my exit monies and then will go to work the next morning at my other job. No sweat, and yeah the job market is tough but not impossible. And it’s so much better away from this cesspool don’t doubt that for a second

I left and it's wonderful! Prioritize updating your resume and job hunting! It's not like this everywhere else!

Maybe because it is not that easy to find a job in this market. Or other reasons such as pay. Cost of living is too high to be in between jobs.

I get that you’re mad and all, but I have a good job here.

The job market is horrible right now! I have been looking on and off for a few years now and nothing comes up that is any good! This is really awful for us who want out or have been let go!
Don’t want to throw politics in the mix, but voting has consequences and this is what we ended up with. Hopefully in Nov things turn around for our Country and the job market.

Easier said than done. There are 100s applying for the same position. I've been looking since February - every evening and weekends. Applying non-stop. The competition is fierce. The older you get the harder it gets. Kids are settling on salaries that are embarrassing just to get out of the advise of clinical care. Do you not think we don't want out!?!?

Yes, anyone still employed with this company needs to be proactive in job hunting because I promise you from being laid off from Optum in February, the job search gets harder after this company sends you out the door with no remorse. Find yourself a job with a company who cares about their employees and where you are appreciated.
