Our purpose is people… yeah right! These are people with families, kids, medical bills, daycare bills, mortgages. I understand that layoffs are part of business but I’m so disgusted by the lack of transparency. Like the title says, if they don’t send us an email with an explanation within 24 hours, I’m seeking another job.

I completely agree with you. Transparency is absolutely key in situations like this. The organization should have and could have done a much better job at communicating with the staff about the layoffs. Announcing such significant changes right before a holiday, leaving people unsure if they’re next, is truly horrible and shows a lack of consideration for the employees’ well-being. While I’m not currently looking for a new job, I understand and share your frustration with how this has been handled. It's critical for the company to address this and provide clear communication to rebuild some trust and assurance among the staff.

Laid off last year, totally heartsick for what is happening right now. More great people getting the shaft. This leadership team is oblivious to what it really takes to succeed. The more tenured experienced people they layoff, the more customers will leave. Word is already out that UKG is no longer a people centric organization and prospects are not signing with UKG. I predict bankruptcy before ipo or buyout. What a shame. SMH

No one here cares if you quit, especially since you posted anonymously...meaning there's no one to call you out when you don't quit. Start looking for another job now while you still have one and don't be a mo--n and quit without having something else lined up.

Having been part of last year’s layoff it is disheartening that they still try to say their purpose is people it not, it profit and margin to go public.
