Boycott the town hall

Show the company just how little the employees think about the company by boycotting the town hall. The management don't listen to the workers, so why should the workers listen to the management. The fewer people that attend the louder our message.

#I did tell you# - If they are all sitting there full of themselves, and they find themselves talking to a room of 6 people they must have to question why. If you all show up and ask please sir is there a pay rise they just say no - back to work and they laugh and think yes well we didn't give one for 10 years and the company kept on - so as you were.

When they realise nobody's listening to a word they say things might change. I can't say it will get anyone a pay rise, but least you didn't spend half the afternoon on a call and all evening complaining about it.

I take it back, there is no point asking questions, boycotting only option. Leadership only interested in their own egos

If we got to vote on DXC policy and could elect our management. I could see the point in showing up and taking an interest.

But they just tell us we're all doing really well, present a picture of a company nobody here recognises, ignore any mention of a pay rise, and you know for sure nobody's getting more than 2% whatever happens. It's been the same for years showing up and trying to ask about pay rises just gets ignored. They only want to hear it's going well.

For years, voter turnout has been declining everywhere, and no party is asking themselves "What are we doing wrong?" They're just carrying on as before.

Why should things be any different in a listed company like DXC?

It's not as if their accounts are emptied in the event of failure to service the bankrupt company's debts, and they are not allowed to take on a new job as CEO for 10 years...

The truth is: whether the company succeeds or fails, they get a new job as CEO in record time. They just don't care!

Feel tempted to ask why bother taking on extra work and responsibility to meet and achieve a 1 if the company isn't ever going to give pay rises and reward staff. What do they actually expect employees to do ?

They don't listen. They don't care. They just get all their cronies to big them up on how well we're all doing. Don't show up, and send the message that they lost us! I'm not even sure a pay rise will get us back, but they can try.

Boycott does nothing, it will only encourage them.
Attend instead, and ask the awkward questions, like awkward questions raised by others, that they see. But don't just ask about pay, ask about the other failings of DXC (take your pick) that way when they remove all the questions on a topic they believe they've answered, there are still lots of awkward questions left to answer.
You can raise questions now, so why not raise one a day? That way when the townhall starts they are under no illusion about how angry their workforce actually is rather than the sycophants they think represent the rank & file.

Whilst I agree with OP sentiment, I fear nothing short of a Global "dirty protest" will get these shysters to notice us. Then again, why would they care.

Its become clear these Town Holes are a waste of time. Just a number of speakers bul about how great they are doing, then a reason why they can't pay folks.

The famous statement by Chris D-mbgoole "Shareholders pay our salary" then he goes onto take Millions for his non performance over 5 years. If he really means what he says he should take a big cut.

All slido questions on pay get sidelined, why are they at the top? Why are you did engaging what the workers are asking about. Worst case of Employee engagement.

Just don't attend your opinion or view doesn't matter and you will be ignored. Your sole purpose is to prop up this company so the chiefs can keep raiding it.

Nobody listens or reads anything these days. My manager asked for a status report. Within an hour I was asked if something was done. Clearly didn't even get past line one of the status report they were so concerned to get.
