“We’re millions over budget so we need tackle this by running daily meetings with all resources to talk about how much we’re over budget”. Sound familiar?

Our management don't have a clue, they ask how long will something take, and keep asking until you give them an answer, and then say that's too long! Taking up more time planning and reporting than doing!

When you have managers who run useless daily stand ups know they dont have enough productive work to do (the cost of holding few people for meeting time becomes the equivalent of 1 worker). The people doing cuts should look at which ones run daily meetings an make the cuts to them. Easy fixes if they want to do them.

More time is spent on project tackers, status reports, and twice daily stand ups than actually doing. And when I say spent. I mean wasted!

I report to 6 different managers who all are full of themselves, they thing attending their meetings and filling out their forms are the most important function of delivering at DXC.

Honestly if they cut 4 from the 6 manager the company would provide a much better service.

Are we actually saying the cuts are actually going to take things forward?

What are you talking about ? DXC with 2 in a box management system (functional and HR like ) is the stupidest system ever. I only want a manager that knows what I am working on day in and day out. The others can be laid off !
