Can you clarify what you mean by “CE”? What does CE stand for? Also, do you think there might be manipulation of reports or the software that generates them to make certain individuals or teams look better or worse? Additionally, do you believe there’s potential for people to be moved to teams that are expected to encounter issues? I’m also curious if you’ve noticed any specific patterns or behaviors from leadership that might support these manipulations or moves. Have you seen any other departments experiencing similar shifts or unusual changes?

I have noticed some people moved to other projects a couple months ago without their buy-in doing entirely different remits than before which I foreshadow as placing people they like in less highly critical or challenged areas of the business that these 'leaders' know will be downsized, gutted, and over-evaluated for their sustainability, practicality, and necessity. I saw a previous post about a layoff of some of the CE team. I find that very unusual to downsize the CE team who I have typically seen as a protected, halo-like area of the business as I have seen that department created by the McK consulting framework as overarching control and getting other departments in line so there's no battling of who is making the decisions so the teams can move at scale with the CE badge of overall ownership. A bit going on so don't have the best read here. Just eating popcorn here watching things play out if others have some educated guesses...

my hairs are standing up on my arms too. I think a layoff is brewing after the Q2 results. folks are acting extra nervous with reporting and revenue recognition.

I don't know how true can be that, when they are test pilot in some markets the Freight Flow (night crew) . if that works out ( they see the stocking levels, sales and profits go up) It will be in the whole company .
