You have to do the IDP because your manager has been too busy putting together slide decks he/she doesn't understand to instruct your director who has absolutely no clue what they're doing.

Mentally ready but not 100% financially ready. Bad job market right now but can't keep working in this hostile work environment. To be honest with one of the busiest years coming up I don't believe layoffs are in the near future....
