The big question is given that Ford sc--wed VW on Argo and abandoned Rivian, will a VW Rivian revenge alliance destroy Ford's EV truck dreams and end the blue oval? I say, yes.

I got let go in August 2022. I worked on VW. Never signed the NDA. When I asked about it and I was told that so many people were NDA'd and they weren't doing that anymore.

I agree with him! Everybody should decline the severance package!! Then fund your own lawsuit!! Or, work together with all the others who refused to sign / accept the severance package and sue as a class action!!
@4mfh+1teyfKme airtight... but some didn't sign and won big on age discrimination in settlements. settlements mean the company didnt think they'd win. lawyer up! all diversity encouraged, except for age and knowledge. also, keep saying "ok boomer" so our elders will have more evidence to present to the judges and juries.
When sensitive information is published publicly, even in an anonymous forum setting such as this, the company is absolutely allowed to seek to end or remove such posts as well as seek out the identity those making such posts. That is obtained through the website. With specific location identifiers, names and identities are determined. No fear mongering here. This is all standard.
To Ford's legal counsel Poser - you have no idea if the people posting ever actually signed an NDA, or if the information is from public records. The courts do not let you go "Fishing" for people to see "IF" they sign an NDA. You first must have a name to go with a post before you can compel the company to turn over confidential records. Also, Ford has a policy to "NOT" confirm or deny negative stories. Publicly threatening people about NDA's looks like Ford is confirming the information. Stop trying to scare people into not posting.
You're allowed to say that, as long as you didn't sign an NDA that states otherwise.
I am part of Ford's legal counsel. I've had a lot of success sending Cease and Desists to this website and/or having comments scrubbed from threads.
I prepare the separation documents and severance agreements. They're all air tight.
I've also had luck obtaining personal information from this website.
Back in September 2022 we had a disgruntled former employee making statements that were in violation of an NDA he had signed. I was able to obtain the location and computer information from which the comments were made. It turned out to be his kid's computer. I sent the paperwork to the kid - high school age - and the dad freaked and confessed. I made his life he-l. Still took the kid's computer for the rest of the school year as evidence.

I remember being NDA'd for the VW partnership. The VW folks were not happy and very unhelpful. Later heard that they felt like they were slumming teaming up with Ford. We are a joke in the industry.
