Project managers are the "people person" from Office Space. They do nothing and if Gainwell really cared about being profitable they'd stop hiring and promoting project managers.

It's true, imagine the fat that could be cut if useless positions like project manager didn't exist. I'm convinced the position only exists so these corrupt CEOs like Marky can give their buddies cushy jobs. Project managers are useless and do nothing.

@the zebra I haven't heard of anything as far as fired but we were told it tracks your mouse clicks and keyboard strokes every 5 mins. If you haven't clicked in 5 mins, then you're marked "idle". If you're away for more than 15 mins, you're "inactive". Every application you use is reported on and the amount of time you spend on it.
Right now, depending on your department, they may just be tracking idle and inactive time only on the weekly report managers get. Goal is less than 30% idle time. Maybe less for call center/processing folks.
Mouse movers won't work because Verint doesn't track idle time based on scrolling. Supposedly it can also detect repeated movements like keyboard clickers or mouse clickers too.
I received my bonus. 35k. Its an average year for me.
Does anyone know of someone that got fired or laid off based on this spy software that Gainwell has deployed on everyone’s computers?
Or have the employees outsmarted the leaders already?
This is leadership at its finest. The company and all of us employees are set up to fail. It is built to fail. So many lies and promises that they have no intention of delivering just to land the business. Then when the company can’t deliver the client gets mad and we end up on corrective action plans, missed SLAs, and eventually lose the business. But not before Gainwell can steal a significant amount from the client. They know that these clients can’t just switch to a new company overnight. It is a long process.
It is quite amazing to watch this happen over and over. The leaders are doing it by design. Take advantage of as many people as you can to get as much money as you can.
Why stay part of an organization built this way?

I read dozens of proposals before I escaped that pit. Exaggerations, lies, and false promises. Full of solutions the company had no way of implementing. Well written propaganda.
Read an actual fairly recent publicly posted Gainwell RFP response front to back recently, and......well, based upon that reading experience, their problems begin on the front end for sure.
