I've been working 20yrs, will get €150k after tax. Very happy with that. Anyone getting that would be a fool not to take VSP. Lots of jobs out there.
Those numbers are just the likes of factory or site manager.
Average worker 10yr service Eng or MT in Ireland is €60k.
500k forv104 weeks means 250k per year. Is it regular sallary in Ireland ?
I was there at the start in the ESSM days, then FAB 10 etc.. We learned how to use email together. I retired over ten years ago but I now despair at what is going on. Back in the day our minds were so open, we were prepared to go to the ends of the earth (Pheonix seemed like it TBF) to learn new things and execute to the best our ability. The standards and expectations placed on us seemed otherworldly and we all figured it out together. I will forever be amazed at what people can achieve when working together, that is what I learned from my time there. What I've learned since in observing all this is how corrosive complacency is. I'm just dismayed. Anyway good luck to all those getting VSP etc, I hope you gave it your all and I wish you all the best.
Damn, the leprechauns found theirbpot of gold.
5 weeks per year service, capped at 104 weeks or €500k.
Plus the government statutory 2 weeks per year service.
5 weeks of pay per year of service compared to 1.5 in usa
yeah maybe at the hughest grades and for those who have been stagnantly there for the last 30 years
8 weeks per year
