@gpg+1tZ4aMFb you keep getting downvoted but i heard the same as well from someone who knows people in high places
Senior Director seems more stressed than the team. Asked us what rumors we had heard. Maybe he’s thinking he’s the one who will get cut since he has no idea what is going on. Can’t say I’m not enjoying that part a little bit.
Are the layoffs Wednesday or Thursday?
I think people will only be told in september after gsx is done

Could not have been said better. The people who do not play CSCO politics, voice genuine concerns or go to HR for real issues are canned.
Toxic individuals who play the game and keep their mouths shut and look away get to stick around.
And that is why you should not feel bad if you are LR'ed. It's not a fault of you, it's a fault of them.
Layoffs separate great leaders and people from company shills. Very sad to see those who put the logo on their paycheck above the relationship and well being of humans.
We got hit by change is the only constant this morning our team leader read one too many Ryan holiday books 😂
When I used to work at Cisco, 98-99% of my colleagues whom I considered friends turned a blind eye to me after my boss announced I was being laid off.
Nobody wanted to make eye contact with me, say hi in the hallways, nothing. They all ghosted me. It was like I never existed.
Then, I found out one of them (who was a manager) was quietly telling other colleagues to avoid me, and speculating I had mental health problems. This was someone I considered a friend and a trusted colleague.
Some professionalism, right?
Corporate America is messed up, but CSCO politics are some of the most toxic I've ever endured. Truly a pit of unsavory snakes.
Take your severance, rest, relax, possibly retrain, and go look for the next opportunity.
Our manager normally always super cool, attentive has evaporated
Not even a good morning or check in
Perhaps this is a sign we are evaporating too
Ghosted at a time of crisis , nice style of leadership
