Some chitter chatter on previous posts on this site that there are going to be layoffs tomorrow.
Does anyone know what CoSAs and areas within those CoSAs will be impacted?

Nope, nadda
Funny how people are complaining about Indians taking jobs again. I remember back in the 90’s when we brought Tata into the building and started the first round of IT layoffs.
Not gonna lie…they worked longer hours for less pay and sacrificed work/life balance to get the job done. Unfortunately, most of the U.S. based workforce didn’t do that.
Fast forward to today and the same thing is happening. They are still willing to sacrifice more than U.S. born employees are, so why wouldn’t our company want to take advantage of that?
We act like USAA is some sacred institution that does something no other competitor does. We don’t. We’re a financial institution in a sea of others who are fighting for our customer’s dollars. We need that money to provide the bells & whistles, and service people want.
If that means we need to augment the workforce with offshore resources and it helps give us an edge, then so be it. I don’t like it and I’m sure you don’t either. But I’m not gonna act like USAA is evil for doing it because you would too if you were in charge.
It's in September and going to hire more Indian. As more Indian in mgmt you will see more Indians in company. They can work in very lower pay that makes more $$ for boad members.
Apart from neeraj leaving, Bank Risk and Audit are being carved out to no longer report to the enterprise CRO and Audit but report directly to board committee and moran. That could mean a few different things, some of them interesting...
Time to pop some popcorn.
Yes, the Chief Risk Officer is a goner.
