I just had a recurring Thursday meeting for 9/5/22 cancelled, so of course because it's a Thursday at the end of a pay period, I immediately think it's another RIF day.

That's the week of Labor Day. Probably numerous people are on PTO that entire week. We're closed on 9/2.
It could be or it may not. Lots of teams are restructuring. If it’s a team meeting, it could mean that one or few team members will no longer be in that particular department by 9/5.
