If that is our company's purpose, should Gail's -- and her "leadership" team's -- salaries and bonuses be tied to objective measurable increases in global life expectancy, rather than the ELV stock price?
No increase in humanity's health, no bonus. Repeated misses, no job. Sounds about right to me.
Until that happens, I'll continue to assume that the stated purpose is just more flowery BS spewing from various orifices in the C-suite.
