Thread regarding USAA layoffs

RTO tracking

Anyone know how the RTO reporting works? How many hours per day are you expected to be in the office? Can you just swipe your badge and leave?

Do they have key loggers as well? So 6 hours * 4 days mandatory for everyone ?

I agree completely! The culture at USAA is the most immature I have witnessed. I guess they do use backstabbing to get ahead, not to mention that some laugh about knowing how to "play the game". Let's not forget that USAA is 10 years behind in technology & compliance, and they want to keep it that way. This place is a disaster.

It's true. I have never worked with such a bunch of BABIES as I did at USAA. People watching and snitching each other out for whatever reason because they think it will help them get ahead. Weird a-s place to work and culture.

Directors can’t access the report. Only EMG (ED’s and above). It shows compliance for a 4 week period but EMG can pull back-dated info too if they want.

Some areas don’t even bring it up unless someone comes in like 3 days a month. Some EMG send it out to their leaders every month and are ruthless about anyone showing under 16 days. Some EMG tell their leaders not to worry about the report at all. It’s all over the place with zero consistency, even within the same CoSA.

The reason why you have so much discrepancy is because none of the EMG know what Wayne is looking at or what he means when he says “do what makes sense” so they’re all trying to manage based on their own best guesses.

It’s almost like poor communication from the top leads to confusion.

Up to your director when they get the numbers to trigger the managers to do the bidding either publicly or privately..Badge swipe, screen time, key logger are all active.

These kinds of questions is what will have us in the office five days a week and then a mandatory 8-5am.

They specifically track how many hours you are logged into office networks and do report those. I have heard remote offices that don't require badge out are about to use these soon since so many people are badging in and going back home after very little time in office.

You only have to put in the 30 minutes of "work" you are putting in at home. However, pro tip, cover up your beach wear on your swing through the office.

Its all tracked when you swipenin and out and log in and logg off, however, all they care about is if you aee in the offflice four days.

Thats it.

Obviously, if your manager sees you leave after two hours, you may be asked why, bit working 6 hours then 2-3 at home seem to be the norm…
