@haq+1tVaotBU I have to laugh. This is hilarious. I bet if given this opportunity many of us would go into a cage match. It is the Olympics so she may be in France for the closing ceremony and may come home with the gold we are paying for. Keep a good sense of humor. It might be the only thing that helps in this ridiculous situation we are seeing.
It’s not severance, it’s supplement pay. Basically - it’s a version of unemployment.
A great example is within this thread below. It su-ks.
In previous companies - when you get Rif’d you get a severance (either a lump sump or bi-weekly pay for 3-6 months), then your PTO / Sick time is paid out, plus your final paycheck. During this time you can also apply for unemployment - so basically you’re getting 4 streams of income.
Not with Hellevance - you essentially get 1. Because heaven forbid you do DoorDash or uber during your supplemental pay period - they immediately revoke it.
You are required to go into a large cage with Gail and fight her for you servence package. Two go in. One comes out!
Incorrect @zfs+1tVaotBU Sup Pay was given.
Word is no severance package was given -
In Indians, you cannot apply for unemployment until your severance is done being payed out. *something to keep in mind
This has been discussed ad nauseum here, and you can find it on Pulse.
What happens to your vesting stocks? And open options you may have?
It’s not really severance. It’s supplemental unemployment. Base is 4 weeks full pay. Then you get 1.5 weeks added on per full year of service. You must apply for unemployment and follow all of your states unemployment guidelines. Elevance will pay you up to your full salary for that time period. For example, if you normally make $1000 a week and you get $300 a week for state unemployment, then Elevance will pay you the $700 to make up the difference.
