@sph

Wow, rooting against the company for which you work.

What a jaded employee.

4bnu+1tVVn8qT - that better be sarcasm! Wildly successful? The india team has zero clue on anything being given to them from our U.S teams. I guess you bet what you pay for right? Unable to password reset straight thru to overseeing projects for processes they never touched before. It’s extremely insulting to be honest. Lets allow them to make mess after mess while the people you move things from have to clean it up

The offshoring plans have been wildly successful for over 20 years. Where have YOU been?!!?

As much as this would make me smile, I know it will never happen. Aug 28th will come and I will still be cleaning up their ungodly mess while upper management glazes them and talks about how we need to get them more training and expand their responsibilities.

Is anyone really going to be sad if they do? I doubt it because all anyone does is clean up the messes they continue to make so it’ll actually be great to not have to deal with that cr-p for once. Let it be an indefinite one please

Netinfo corporate announcement says there is a union strike on the 28th. I guess the layoff deniers are also union deniers.

Are our people in India unionized? I think not.

So stupid. Our H1-B Visa employees and offshore workers appreciate the opportunity to work. Just as our Boomer slaves laid it all out on the line for the Bank. Something that stopped cold with GenX onward.

Would just mean the us counterparties (the much smaller, heavily overworked team members) will need to work nights and weekends for free…..same as when the region experiences a major monsoon.

Here's what happens when you set out as a conqueror, exploiting the economic weaknesses of other peoples. You think you can make extravagant demands because they have no choice, but fortunately, those days are over.

Hope it cripples BNY Op's and the management teams that were responsible for the offshoring plan are held accountable. " Great plan to push such a high percentage of the workforce to a low cost, 3rd world country" (My former managers words, not mine.)

I can only dream that the decision makers are held accountable, but we all know that the extra work burden that this issue creates will be shifted to the remaining SME's that are already overworked.

The chickens are coming home... or should I saw the cows?
