no one is going to do jack till they hear either way, and most of us dont care, over 40 , we have a cushion , you gen z will find another lower paying job that holds you accountable, its always been hunger games ,but some of us are getting to slow and may get hit.a

Was it Chuckie or the bobble head who said that we have to burn PTO during a mandatory shutdown to save the company. All it did was reduce what they have to pay out to people.

And they absolutely knew an LR was in the works. So shameful.

If you're on the list nothing you do will make any difference. The lists are 99% done 1.5+ months in advance.

If you are on the list it must be stupid to take PTO now. They will have to pay for it and you will get time off anyway I don't see the point
Any expense that you are entitled too and that was mentioned as a perk in your initial job offer is valid no matter what they say. It is going to cost them a lot more if they deny it and you take them to court for that. They will have to pay for your lawyer and theirs
