Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

Is it bad that I'm disappointed there were no layoffs today?

If there was a way, I'd volunteer. I'm really tired of this place and how it changed over the years. I'm tired of the constant uncertainty. I'm thinking that a new start is exactly what I need, and if I can do it with severance, even better. I don't mean to be insensitive, but I'm hoping for layoffs.

I now work for a company that values each employee, a CEO that meets with everyone every few months. The atmosphere is contagious and everyone loves being at work.
I didn’t know how miserable I truly was after giving over half my life to a company who thought nothing of it. Hang tough, there is a much better life outside of all the Cigna chaos.

Can you tell us where you work? Lol pretty please? 🥰 Hints will do - maybe like, rhymes with ...

I can totally relate…as I was there! Thankfully, I had a manager that didn’t agree with any way I managed my teams. I made a comment late last year that this was not the company I joined many years ago. Manager has never managed people, was extremely young and was very new to Cigna. I always had great reviews. I was cut…with max severance and bonus. It was the only time the manager ever listened. I asked too many questions and had too many ideas that made sense, so I needed to be removed. I didn’t fit their click.

So relatable! This job is pushing me to the brink of insanity and it legit gets worse everyday. I think this may have been the worst week yet. Trying to manifest being laid off 🪄🤩✨

Or I guess I could finally tell my supervisor or a member to eat a bag of d**** but I won’t get that sweet sweet sevvy if I go that route

There is a way to volunteer.

Tell your mgr and HR.
