Yes attorney fees are exorbitant, but think of it this way: if you don’t have good attorneys, you get nothing. The powerful corporations get away with everything. USAA is getting away with a lot of wrongdoings. It’s unfortunate that us small fries don’t readily have a fighting chance.
The attorneys will get $17 million. Can’t imagine why people have no trust in attorneys. From my experience, they are very narcissistic and see nothing wrong with stealing money from their clients. I am glad that service members went after USAA and won, the same service members that USAA is supposed to protect. It’s just sad that the biggest winners are always the attorneys. Definitely need legal reform. Too many attorneys. I don’t trust them, and many are horrible leaders. just look at our politicians.
