Received an invitation this morning for this afternoon, when I joined the call the HR director was on also (was not on the initial invite) .. last day 9/6 .. part of Carelon Behavioral Health. Completely blindsided but will stay til 9/6 to receive my full severance
It probably means rifs aren't complete in your group. They can't communicate until all notifications have been given. Or your boss is a wimp, even odds.
I have heard absolutely nothing. Several leaders above me are on PTO tomorrow. No idea if that’s a coincidence.
Has anyone else heard absolutely nothing from their team regarding this? It's been silent, and I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing.
Yep, short notice meeting invite and HR was in my meeting.
We had a similar meeting today, that we survived this round.
Subject line sounds more like a call to let you know who of your coworkers has been axed. Who knows though, could be management/HR being tricksy.

HR will not be on the invite, the person who said that is incorrect. It's either a RIF for you, or notifying you of others on your team.

HR is never on the invite for RIF notifications.
If it's not only 15 minutes and it's your entire team, it's probably to update you about people that were lost from your team.
If you don’t see an HR in your invite, then you are safe!

It’s been my history that you get an invite to a meeting that occurs like in the next 15 minutes. They don’t usually give you w whole bunch of time to get ready
