May I ask what’s wrong with having employees from India?
IT dept is safe mostly because all of them from India :) Even onshore engineers are Indian. I don’t understand this company is Indian or US company indeed. Almost all departmens have thousand of Indians.
I'm guessing legal is safe - for now- as they brace for a wave of discrimination complaints and lawsuits.
HR is safe until they are done getting rid of everyone. Then it will be their turn as well.
I don't want to be rude but this has been asked and answered multiple times, nobody is considered safe and I doubt anyone can give you the answer to make you feel better. It's just a wait-and-see.
