Laurie havanec leaving!!! All dropping like flies. From Karen town hall she sorta points at the Medicaid segment for her 2Billion savings needed. The Hartford office looks abominable with nothing there but the fearful 3 day a week people dragged in.

No one is fixing Medicare claim trend (a problem all carriers have) until they tackle the covid issue everyone wants to pretend is a non-issue.

As long as that’s ignored people will keep being sick in ways they never have. The layoffs (at any level) won’t fix it. You can’t fix a problem by ignoring it.

Brian Kane came into Aetna though forcing his ways onto our company without any regard to our own culture. I don’t think many will miss him.

Rumor mill Karen fired Brian to save herself because all the MCOs sc--wed up their utilization. Funny thing is Brian wasn't even hired when the reports were done. She's sweeping house and reorganizing all of Aetna to show stockholders she's doing something and deflecting how she su-ks.
