Won’t get my 2% increase until next March; if I’m around at that time. Good luck everyone.

I understand how tough this is, but remember, this place can't break you. It's an elitist company pretending to be virtuous. Don't give it any more of your soul than necessary, even if you're not laid off. There's no guarantee you won't be, and if you are, it's not necessarily personal. The incentive structure is flawed, much like the bell curve balancing that leads to "meets expectations" ratings. I only put in average effort this year because I know I'll get a 3 next year. No more exceeding expectations for me. If my work is only seen as average, that's all they'll get.

It's frustrating how disconnected HR and talent management seem to be. How is discouraging employees from excelling and constantly threatening layoffs an effective strategy? It would be great if the company actually upheld its integrity value.

This is not a test, this is your Emergency Broadcast System. Announcing the commencement of the annual purge sanctioned by the U.S. Government.
We-pons of class four and lower have been authorized for use during the purge. All other we-pons are restricted.
Commencing at the siren, any and all crime (including mu---r) will be legal for 12 continuous hours.
Police, fire, and Emergency Medical services will be unavailable until tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. When the purge concludes.
Blessed be our new founding fathers and America... A nation reborn.
May God be with you all.
