Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Agile Layoffs in ECIO

Well-placed EMG source in ECIO mentioned that the next round of layoffs in ECIO are planned for September. ECIO is going to target Agile roles, especially those that are remote workers. ECIO sees these roles as providing limited value and even more so with remote Agile workers.

Looks like the Agile gravy release train is over.

If they are doing it there, I selfishly hope us Agile Roles in Bank are impacted too.

Cuz there's no difference between SAFe and waterfall at USAA. of course they wouldn't see the benefit.

if you're into Agile there are better places to practice it. Usaa is quite competitive at micromanagement tho

SAFe agile is the closest self proclaimed agile to waterfall methodology lol. If you are not technically proficient, you will have to start learning to avoid a layoff.

Didn't they already do this? Failure of leadership to provide vision and goals for an agile process and now cutting bait yet again and no accountability on the people that wanted to move to an agile process in the first place.
