Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Are any of the layoffs in Round Rock?

I am deeply sorry to hear of this. Dell was just blowing up around the time I was graduating high school in Pflugerville and had many friends that churned through the round rock and Parmer offices. It seemed like every 6 months they would all be laid off and a new round of people would come in. Then 6 months later same thing all over again. Seems like Dell has always operated this way unfortunately. What a terrible way to treat people.

It’s the down economy over the last few years. We’ll all return to better days and greater stability soon. Just need to navigate as best we can, personally and professionally.

Seems the layoffs are hitting OKC, Round Rock and small other areas. Based on media reports, seems like more will come over the next few days.
