For the last 17 years its been 4 weeks standard then 1.5 weeks per year of service. You used to be able to get any PTO paid out but that ended and its by state now if you get it as a payout.
If this is true that you only get paid 4 weeks + 1.5 weeks per full year of service, then this company is evil. I worked at startups before coming here and each one gave me 3-6 months worth of severance + PTO/Sick time paid out separately.
You mean to tell me this Fortune 500 company can't do the same? Evil.
It also depends on grade...or that was the case in Oct 2023.
Look in Workday and see what your years of service is. I'm pretty sure that's the number it's based on.
It is continuous unless the gap between breaks is small (something like <1 year).
Is it per continuous year of service or total? I left the company and then came back after several years. Would my previous years count?
It’s 4 weeks plus 1.5 weeks per full year of service. Looks like 7 weeks for you.
