They are trying to save money in any way possible. No one may agree with it, but they won’t be done with layoffs until they think they have the budget under control. So just assume your job is always at risk. Realistically you should always do this. That’s just reality working at any company. We’ve just had a huge swing because you had to try to get fired prior to this leadership.
Layoffs will probably happen this week. Or at least Denver closing announcement and offers to move to Frisco or something. The news today just means they need to layoff more people.
No way this happens now with the article that just came out.
