Nothing is going to happen at midnight. I’ve been through this for 36 years. Big talk, that’s it. You will be working Monday with an expired contract.

D3 stayed strong last contract when the Union leadership in D9 capitulated to the company 1 week before D3’s contract expired. It appears to be repeating, D3 had a work stoppage for an unfair labor practice by the company. Expecting it this time too, in addition, will probably go out for a real work stoppage. We are ready!

District 9 announced a Tentative Agreement on Friday. It's funny how they are trying to seal the deal here in California just as D3 is coming up for bargaining. No one has any details as to what the TA entails, but word on the street is everyone is voting NO. Stay strong D3 and keep looking at what D9 does. Encourage them to vote no if it is a bad TA

Even with a capped COLA, labor can’t keep up with inflation. I’m a frugal Gen Z but still have to use my high interest credit card to live. Don’t know about anyone else but I’m ready to return to the years prior to Covid where gas was under $2, rent under $800 and everything else was so much more reasonable priced. I won’t ever be able to afford a home, the administration’s policy of constraining energy for pie in the sky, green energy deals, has been an utter failure that we are all paying for, I feel it daily.

Employees at AT&T are used to poor leadership decisions and failures in our professional lives. Over the last four years, we have had to deal with it in our personal lives too, somethings got to give. I’m running out of runway, out of hope and have too much stress/anxiety in my life. Working on a plan and certifications, to move on so, F Bidenomics, you two made my life much worse.

Nothing is happening until at least labor day. That way the CWA can get a longer vacation and put and addition FU to managment by forcing them to work over the holiday.

Has any union gone on strike two negotiations in a row?

Source on the strike vote already being in? Seems like usually the union isn’t shy about making that public.

It will be a complete failure by the U if wire techs don’t get moved to WS32, since it was T who initiated the plan of WS32 digital techs doing Uverse(wire tech) work in the first place. Explain 2 different pay scales & benefits/etc for doing the exact same work. 50-75% of BFS work is uverse wire tech jobs, not actual SSIM work as it should be. Move them up or send the work back to where it came from.

The company didn’t take up any badges or devices on Friday so, there is that. Strike vote already in, the company knows D3 will have a work stoppage if needed. First up is an ULP strike, last contract it was about 2 weeks after expiration, hopefully sooner this time. Get the drama over, get an TA out and let people go back to work. Let’s just say both sides did the best they could and move on.

Most contracts to date, the wage increases have been; 5% 1st yr and 3% every year after with COLA and one with 3.25% last yr. In mobility, medical cost went down slightly. There were no take backs and a few minor Improvements to work rules. Basically, status quo with little change with the exception of COLA added and small improvement to wage increases. No change to pension or 401k cash balance match, which isn’t very good only, comes out to a max of $2k @yr company match, not much compared to other contracts and companies. Lump sum, SIPP and PMR will remain.

Things aren’t going well I hear. Percentage decreases in every category. Get ready to strike

I’ve been wondering the same. One thing to note - there doesn’t seem to have been a strike authorization vote yet.
