I did all I'm supposed to do and I'm as prepared as I can be in case my name is on the list. And still I can't stop thinking about it and running my weekend. I can't wait for this whole thing to be over, even if it means I'll be out of a job. I just want to move on, one way or another.

Hey, would you be willing to chat about your experiences at Anthem? Email: Mansur.Shaheen@ft.com
I am just too sad and heartbroken thinking about the day is coming. So many great memories, wonderful relationships and so much of hard work put into for such a long time. It will be so difficult to say goodbye.
Non profit organization or smaller companies are the way to go.
I am with you in this. Whatever happens will be for good. I got RIF 10/20. Was in complete socked for few days. With god grace found a better job with much higher pay. I wish the same for you. Hold tight, it will be all good.
It’s been in the back of my mind all day enough to come here. I’m ready as I will ever be, even if I survive I am in a dead end job anyway as a remote worker. Management has carefully crafted their wording about applying for hybrid positions. Also, when a Fortune 100 company gives its workers less than inflation raise 2%, it’s time to move on. Financially it’s a poor decision to stay. So if I survive 8/8 I’m moving on anyway. I’ve made much better at smaller companies. I made the mistake of thinking I could grow with this company.
Exactly! You said it all
They count on that. It's easier said than done, but don't let them do that to you. My Dad used to say about work, "Never let the bas+ard get you down". Be strong.
