This is like a lottery win for SR employees. They can find a fabulous Houston home for a tiny fraction of what they sell for in Danville. Then they can retire and save a fortune in state income tax.

There’s 2,000 employees in San Ramon. At first a few of them including the CEO and most of the top brass will move to Houston, followed by many more over the next 5 years. Only the personnel needed to run the oil production fields and the two refineries will remain in California. But I bet what’s not being said at this time is that within 10 years, nothing will remain in California. There will be no oil and gas production and no refineries in that State. Go woke, go broke.
