Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Time to fire Pat and split up Intel

Long time Intel blue blood who left Intel a few years ago.

Pat has had enough time for a turnaround and if Intel is not restructured, its product business will get to a point of no recovery also.

I just looked at the updated quarterly results. Even Altera which was running at roughly $5B annual revenue when I was still at Intel is now at a $350M quarterly revenue run rate??? What the he-l is the excuse for that?

Lastly, just listened to the earnings call and Pat's answer to what is the root cause of the struggles was that he has realized that Intel was structured for delivering 'leadership' and not 'efficiency' and that now is the time to focus on efficiency. How does someone give that as an answer with a straight face? Because he has no clue what the right answer is even after 3+ yrs of being on the job.

Pat should be the first person to exist along with his full staff... plus one if not the most destructive employees in Intel's history that appears to still be on the books: Kaizad Mistry

Pat and gang put on their sad face masks and lowered their tones to act "sad"...meanwhile no mention of accountability from their level.

Slogged on P2,P3,P4,P6,Core-i*. Lots of awards
Wanted to transfer internally - got ripped off by an Expat manager
Left Intel - was first external customer of ICF in 2011. Literally showed them how to design.
Applied for a job at Intel - another Expat Manager turned me down - scared cat.
So the people that can do the work are rejected.

I can do a small Risc-V or AI processor singlehandedly - Software, Drivers, RTL, Backend.

I am pretty comfortably off with a good job now !!

Now ask Pat about that !!

In 2006, I presented him with a IP-repository strategy through his TA - D. Parker - never heard back. Intel could have been the TSMC of today !!

Wonder what happened to Intel values. We used to hear those a lot until PSO took over.

I found it interesting that in his dear john letter today he focused on "We must improve our execution" Its NEVER about building QUAILTY products with this guy.

That bit about the problem being too much focus on delivering leadership is one of Pat’s all time top laugh lines. Up there with when he used to talk about being Grovian. Intel has had some serious bloviators in the past, but the stuff Pat comes up with is next level.

Heard that KM is the one stone-walling customer requests. IFS is doomed with this guy.

GP is another one. Just look at his org. Delivering sub-par quality PDKs, making up some fake survey results. Many FLMs with 3 or 4 reports.
