Is a credit check performed as part of the background check for roles hired in audit?

Full background check with credit check, and dr-g test when hired.
Sensitive positions get their background checked every 3 years.
Yes, they do a credit check and dr-g test prior to hiring. Then at the 5 year mark, if you’re in a “sensitive” position, they do a criminal background check along with another credit check. Back in Nov 2019, this girl on my team got an email stating due to her job title and hitting 5 years, a credit & criminal background check will be performed, Jan 2020, they followed up with her, and she had $12k in credit card debt and gave her 7 calendar days to pay it down to be under the USAA threshold, she wasn’t able to and when she came into work on day 8, she was terminated, and when that happens, there is nothing your manager can do or even Director or ED.

Yes, they will not hire you if you're debt to income is hosed.. they feel you'll attempt to settle your debts by removing funds instead of utilizing your pay to do so..
Yes. A dr-g test is performed too.
