Antone else experience delays with impact awards getting approved? A team member got theirs weeks after the rest of the team. I even checked with the approving manager that he approved as this particular one didn't come back to present. Others have the same issue? Are people sitting on these?

It seems they're discouraging use of the points. Now they push the ecards.
But yes, I experienced delays in multiple I sent this year. Eventually they went through. That said, I never got an option for anything other than 500. I'll have to try and see if I can do 250 now just to avoid approval.
It's just nice being able to give a tangible benefit to a colleague.
Directors in my area (HBO) will flat-out decline them unless they feel whatever blurb was written justifies the award. It’s an automatic decline if given inter-departmentally (I.e. associate gives impact to another associate, Lead or OE on the same team). Also worth noting: they have no actual idea what we do all day or the impact we truly have, so the impacts are completely lost on them.
Impact Awards! Ha.
My new manager doesn’t believe in those and doesn’t give them out. It’s a fricken joke.
250 points or less are automatic approval if a manager creates. Anything over that must go up a level. If I recall all not management created awards must be approved by a manager .. it haven’t seen one in a while so that may have changed
My last reward, I got the automated email with the kudos, however, the points/dollars never came. I waited more than a month and finally reached out to some contact I found in Pulse. Was finally given the points.
No issues for 250 pts and was approved this week.
Impact award department budgets have been reduced. Funds deplete quickly. In one area, the leader suggestion was to use low points (100=$25) not cash dollars for better chance of approval. Of course, each department $and advice could be different
Funds are depleted
The higher amount awards have to go another level up for approval. Maybe that's it?
